Debbie Kessell is a New Zealand author who has been working as a professional nanny for many years. She is passionate about her job, and has an extensive library of children’s books with well-chosen words and beautiful illustrations.
“My three sons were the inspiration behind Angelic Thunder,” says Debbie. “As young children, they were scared of thunder and lightening so I wrote the story to allay their fears. It worked!” And it’s now a book worthy of Debbie’s collection.
Debbie has travelled extensively with her husband, Michael, but still loves to come home to the untamed west coast beaches. She’s often found unwinding at Piha or Kari Kari.
